Pitcairn - Find Person
Young, Simon (1823)
"Simon Young held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island in 1849.4
He was a schoolteacher.
In 1864 he was among the second wave of returnees from Norfolk in 1864.
The fact that so many children were among the Pitcairn returnees convinced him
that they needed their schoolteacher, and this is why he returned.
He was Pastor and schoolteacher after 1864."
